Goldlink’s party-starter “Spectrum” has a new set of visuals. The track’s memorable foreign excerpt is spoken in Tagalog and roughly translates to “Even though he hurts my feelings and gets on my nerves, I still love him no matter what,” according to Goldlink on Hot 97. The DC rapper rarely features or plays a hands-on role in his song’s videos, opening the door for more visual and cinematic control and presentation – similarly seen on past videos such as “Dance On Me” and “Palm Trees/Late Night“.
One of the lead tracks off And After That, We Didn’t Talk, “Spectrum” brings a spacious house beat to an addictive and creative run through your clique chorus. Check out Goldlink’s 2015 album and the recent remix release of the record on YouTube.
