Case Arnold – Strange Places

After being premiered on Noisey’s Beats 1 show over the weekend, Case Arnold’s highly anticipated track Strange Places has been officially released. The Clarksville-based emcee has released three tracks over the course of the past 24 days, but the blues-rap groover Strange Places is definitely my favorite of the releases thus far.

Case’s oldschool style has always intrigued me, as he’s truly keeping a dying art form alive and bringing real “hip-hop” the the forefront of the genre once again. Not to mention, his lyrical abilities are always unmatchable. Produced by Gourmet Grooves, Strange Places will be featured on Case’s debut album SO(U)L Theory, which is set to drop in the near future.
