Macklemore Gives Us His Post-Election Thoughts in Moving New Song “Wednesday Morning”

I have no idea what Macklemore’s current plans are.  I’m not sure anyone does, but I think that’s a good thing.  He’s making music because he has something to say.

Macklemore has yet to talk about any new project, which would be unexpected seeing as he just released an album in February.

This is the second song in a row that Macklemore has released without Ryan Lewis on the production efforts.  Budo is masterful in this one.

Macklemore releases this track the day after he took to Jimmy Fallon to perform “Drug Dealer” with Ariana Deboo.

Yes, this song has a strong liberal lean to it (if you know anything about Macklemore/Seattle you couldn’t really expect anything less).  This song captures a lot of the anxiety felt by many after the election.

Macklemore continues to be a voice for the voiceless.  I don’t think this is the last we will hear from Macklemore or a number of rappers on this issue.

No matter what side of the political aisle you are on I think this song has something that will connect with you.
